Inner Union: Men's Group with Dave Cash

Zoom group–Tuesday evenings in January
Retreat (in person): February 10 at Electric Lodge

$400 zoom meetings and in-person retreat ($300 for Open Temple Co-Creators)

“Inner union” is about uniting the divine feminine and the divine masculine within us. The story of Adam and Eve begins with one unified being; concepts of a dual-sexuality find mention from Aristotle to biological processes of gestation.

In this course, participants will explore with Dave Cash concepts of our divine masculine (typically associated with mental energy) and ways this can serve as a protector and provider for our divine feminine (typically associated with emotional energy). Readings, breath exercises, journaling, and meditations, will encourage us towards self-integration of “She/Him.”

Dave Cash majored in religious studies at the University of Michigan and has had a decades-long career as a fitness coach and then a men’s coach which has put him in very intimate relationships coaching men and getting to know some common themes in their relationships with their bodies and minds.

Dave Cash grew up the son of a famous feminist writer.
Rabbi Lori was his babysitter while she was in college.
(a long, long time ago…)
Dave went on a journey of growing up with radical ideas
About Masculinity. About Feminism.
About the way these two ideas did and did not agree.
He became a coach.
And a writer.
And more…

“Sing unto God a new song.”
-Psalm 96

If God is already tired, as suggests the Psalm, of hearing the old song, all the more so will ordinary mortals be.
