Spring Cleaning Shabbat Potluck Dinner

Friday, April 5
7:00 pm
Open Temple House

Passover requires us to do the work and get gritty in the dirt. The process makes Marie Kondo look like a lightweight.

Open Temple hosts Spring Cleaning Shabbat Potluck this Friday, April 5, at 7:00 PM.

We will begin with looking at the OT House and learning about the process of Bedikat Chametz (the search for Chametz). Then, we will identify what is Chametz (which the rabbis translated from leavening to ego) in our lives.

Our Shabbat dinner nourishes and deepens as we seek clarity on what we seek to release, speak our intentions out loud and leave feeling lighter.

Please bring a vegetarian dish to share. Open Temple provides dessert 🍰 as it isn’t Pesach yet!

5784 Co-Creators, please reach out to us if you would like to attend. All others, please RSVP below to let us know you’ll be there!

“Sing unto God a new song.”
-Psalm 96

If God is already tired, as suggests the Psalm, of hearing the old song, all the more so will ordinary mortals be.
