Now – more than ever – is the time to honor Judaism’s mandate to practice self-care. Shabbat is a particularly good opportunity to take a breath and stretch your mind, body, and soul in the Open Temple Virtual Yoga Studio.
All levels welcome and modifications will be offered to accommodate a range of abilities. Suggested props to have on hand if accessible:
- Yoga/exercise mat or full length towel
- 3-4 foot strap, belt, or long rope
- Yoga block or a big, sturdy hard back book

Zach Lasker is Jewish educator, community organizer, and 500-Hour trained yoga instructor through YogaWorks. He uses yoga as a tool for mindfulness and access to Jewish life and learning and has taught yoga at shuls, schools, camps, and other community settings.
