Monthly Parenting Workshops with Barbara Olinger

Come join us as we explore parenting more than one child. Our families become hotbeds of relationship building, with juggling differing developmental needs, temperaments and practical management issues – it can feel overwhelming! Connect with other parents (you are not alone) and learn new approaches to help in both daily routines and longer term growth.

Cost: $38 Couples $70

Childcare available $10 per child

Barbara Olinger has her Masters in Social Work and has worked with children and families in both educational and therapeutic settings for over 35 years. This has included being a Child and Family Therapist, the Supervising Clinician in an outpatient mental health clinic, a co-founder of a co-operative preschool, and Director of Family Development at the YWCA Santa Monica / Westside. In her current private practice, she focuses on supporting parents of young children and preschool teacher training. She has two grown sons.

She is the author of the parenting book, Growing From the Roots: A Practical Guide to the Art of Parentingnow on DVD along with Welcoming Your Second Child.
